Fall Maternity Fashion Haul

Fall maternity fashion should be comfortable and practical, yet super cute, and include pieces that can be worn before, during and after pregnancy. This list also includes pieces that can be worn for future Fall seasons without looking too outdated. Figuring out what to wear is already so difficult with a growing baby bump, so I tried to make these Fall outfit ideas as uncomplicated as possible. I am officially in my third trimester, so I am loving the idea of simplifying my maternity style. Most of these pieces look great with maternity leggings and a maternity tee, for ultimate grab-and-go style. Here are 15 Fall Maternity Fashion pieces that you absolutely need to add to your wardrobe this season.

1. Cognac Ruffle Detail Booties

2. Oversized Mustard Turtleneck Knit Pullover

I love this cuddly soft knit turtleneck sweater. The bright mustard yellow color is gorgeous, and I think it perfectly captures Fall vibes. I styled this outfit with maternity leggings and these cute Cognac Ruffle Detail booties. The booties are a great complement color-wise to this sweater, and complete the outfit.

3. Plaid Poncho

This is a poncho, also known as a blanket formed in such a way that it drapes stylishly over your shoulders. Throw this on for a morning walk to get your favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s so cute and versatile, and is the perfect transitional cover-up for when you’re not quite ready to bring out your Fall coat.

4. MAMA Necklace

I can’t complete a maternity fashion haul without a quintessential MAMA necklace. The gold tone is perfect for Fall.

5. Columbia Women’s Heavenly Vest

6.  Long sleeve cable knit sweater

This warm rust-hued vest looks great with this yellow cable-knit sweater. As you can tell, I’m pretty much loving rust and mustard yellow for Fall this season. The vest keeps you warm for those milder Fall days when a coat would just be overkill. Take this outfit to the pumpkin patch.

7. Red Flannel Shirt

8. Cognac Mule Booties

The flannel button-down shirt never goes out of style for Fall, and it dresses up a basic tee and jeans (or leggings, in this case) in the most perfect way.  If you prefer a more grunge look, buy a flannel that is a couple sizes larger than your normal size.

9. Two-Piece Sweater Dress

10. Block Heel Sandals

I had to feature one of the flagship pieces from my store Sula May! Sweater dresses are definitely in season, and I thought I would put something on this list that would be nice enough to wear out to a nice dinner or evening event. This dress stretches nicely to accommodate all sizes of baby bump, and these block heels provide much needed stability without sacrificing style.

11. Plaid Knit Scarf

12. Black Sweater

This plaid knit scarf is a less expensive version of a certain luxury brand scarf that has been popular over the years. This scarf was from Amazon, and it looks so cute with everything, but I thought it would stand out more with an all-black outfit. Wear it as a scarf or as a shawl with this black sweater for an easy Fall look.

13. Quilted Coat

If you live in a place where it gets kind of chilly in the Fall (but still above freezing), I would add one of these quilted coats to your wardrobe. These coats are lightweight and perfect for Fall and Spring weather, when a parka would be overkill. This particular coat that I’m wearing is a late season Michael Kors coat that I thrifted from Goodwill.

14. Leopard Print Cardigan

This cardigan is not out of style, yet! And thank goodness, because it is so stylish. I usually stay away from animal print, but I can make an exception this one time. This coat adds some pizzazz to this otherwise plain white tee and leggings outfit. If you don’t already have a piece like this, add one to your Fall wardrobe.

15. Floral Maxi Dress and Long Sleeve Cable Knit Sweater (From #6)

Last, but not least, is the maxi dress. Yes, Summer may be on its way out, but you can still transition a maxi dress into the Fall season by adding a sweater to the outfit. I wore this outfit apple picking with the temperature in the sixties, and it was perfect! Yellow is such an underrated and cheerful late Summer/early Fall hue.

I hope these 15 Fall pieces have inspired you to go for it and invest in Fall maternity fashion pieces that you can wear during and after your pregnancy. Look stylish this season, and enjoy all that Fall has to offer with a wardrobe that revolves around the basics that make you feel comfortable as your body changes. Let me know in the comments, what are you most looking forward to this Fall season? For me, I look forward to wearing these cozy outfits, and it definitely brightens up my day to put these on.
